French Caribbean music track and album art created in collaboration with Google Gemini.

I don't listen to Caribbean music much, except when I'm in a really good mood 🥳 It reminds me of the days my late father Gérard Raymond used to go on mission, and brought back mix music tapes from the places he traveled to. This was back in the 1990s, so they were also quite literally tapes you stuck in a cassette player. Crazy right? 😜

Here's a transcript of the lyrics in French and the translation in English:

French
Le carnaval est là, la fête commence
Dansons ensemble, perds le sens
Allez, la vie en couleurs
(Oublie toutes les douleurs)
Allez, chante avec nous
(Ce soir on est fou)
C'est la joie, oui, la joie de vivre
Juste l'amour qui nous enivre

English
The carnival is here, the party begins
Let's dance together, lose your senses
Come on, life in colors
(Forget all the pain)
Come on, sing with us
(Tonight we are crazy)
It's joy, yes, the joy of living
Just love that intoxicates us
