Autumn video of Niagara Falls. From left to right, it includes a sweeping view of American Falls, Bridal Veil Falls, and Horseshoe Falls. Actually quite interesting from this angle as American Falls & Bridal Veil Falls (packed closely together on the left) belong to the state of New York, USA; while Horseshoe Falls on the right belong to the province of Ontario, Canada. Extending its way down into the foreground where I captured this video from the Canadian side of Niagara Falls.

In other words, you get to see two countries in one view from this video. Perhaps even more interesting is that all these waterfalls are flowing from the same river, namely the Niagara River. It's not a confluence of rivers from separate sources, but rather a single river working its way around a patch of high ground known as Goat Island, also visible in the video between both sets of waterfalls.

In turn, I think I better understand why now the place itself is called Niagara Falls. Technically there's no one single waterfall I know of with the name Niagara Falls, but there are separate waterfalls flowing from the same Niagara River. So when put together, they would collectively be known as Niagara Falls. Simple, but very effective in my opinion. Like there's a deeper, almost poetic meaning baked inside the name.
