Photo of my late father Gérard Raymond taken from a roll of slides he had marked Virginia Beach 1979. Gérard would go on to live until March 30, 2010 when he succumbed to pancreatic cancer. I still miss him very much to this day, but keep a print of this photo next to my computer as a constant reminder that life is worth celebrating. Translated from French, "joie de vivre" means "joy of living".
