Photo of the NBC "Fireside Chat" Microphone from a temporary exhibition titled American Aspirations at the Smithsonian Castle in Washington DC, USA. Currently closed for renovation, the Castle is expected to reopen in 2028.
For a little extra reference, the Fireside Chats were a series of informal evening radio addresses given by U.S. President Franklin D. Roosevelt between 1933 and 1944.
