Long exposure photo of Rose River Falls partially frozen over, yet featuring some leftover autumn leaves swirling in the stream below. Located in Shenandoah National Park near Luray, Virginia (USA). Also a variant of this image digitally manipulated to include an African penguin from my own photo archives. Otherwise scientifically known as Spheniscus demersus, and deliberately meant as an out of place element within a scenic winter waterfall thousands of miles away from its natural habitat.
