Title inspired by The Vortex as an informal, yet popular name for this trail, along with hill contours reminding me of an abstract head resting on the ground. Open to interpretation of course as to what creature this head could belong to, I just happen to love dragons as the stuff of legends & fantasy. Appropriate in my opinion to the many surreal Utah landscapes, not to mention the stone texture here reminding me of scaly skin.
