Originally inspired by a personal photo of a Spanish courtyard from Cusco, Peru, but too embarrassed to share due to poor snapshot quality. To be fair though, it was a picture taken in 2005, and I was just starting out in photography. Probably would have stayed buried in my photo archives were it not for this random idea to describe the scene in a prompt for AI.

I also told myself there's no reason why I need to recreate another photo from my snapshot. With text, I can specify anything I want, provided of course it falls within ethical guidelines. So I opted for a vibrant painting. Looking very different than the original photo, but AI helped breathe new artwork that never existed before. Not what I would call a masterpiece, it is more of an experiment really. But I definitely see some artistic merit in there. It just so happens AI helped me along with the creative process.
